Monthly Mission

Every month we will take one aspect of your life and concentrate on it, maybe to bring it under control or maybe to fine tune it.  Some of the Monthly Missions will tie in with the season and some will just focus on those things we never seem to get around to.  Do some of them, do all of them, do parts of them.  It is your choice.  The main thing is that you do something!

Our Weekly Workouts will tie in with the Monthly Mission.  I am a big believer in breaking down big projects into small, scheduled tasks.  So the Monthly Mission will give you an overview of what we will be working on for the month and then click on over to the Weekly Workout for specifics.

Every fourth month we will track your progress towards your goals.  If you are just getting started, click on over to Love Taps to get started on your path to achieving your dreams.  Go on.  Get over there.  You know who you are.   Once you have gone through your Love Taps you will be ready to take part in our Weekly Workouts and Monthly Missions.

July – Tracking and Measuring

One of the most important things you can do, and the thing you NEED to do when you are working towards anything is to track and measure your results.  Every third month I have you do a systems check.  If you have lost sight of your goals, if you have gotten off track, this is your chance to get back on track.  If you have been steadily working towards your goals, this is the time where you get to mark your progress, see if what you have been doing is working and to ask yourself if there may be a better, faster or more efficient way to achieve your goals.

So go back to your notes from January (or when you first set your goals) and April when we did our first tracking of the year.  Get your goal sheets, your scribblings.  Yeah.  It’s accountability time.

The first week of the month we will do a check to establish where you are on your path right now.  We will break the checklist up into Lifestyle, your Work Life and your Relationships/Love Life.

The second week we do a financial check up. This is probably the easiest part of your life to track because it is the most quantifiable.  We will look at your salary, your monthly bills, debts and assets.

During week three we will compare where you are now to where you were during the last tracking session.  From there we will look at your progress towards your overall goals.

Week four you will make decisions about realigning and resetting your goals.  Sometimes we set our goals too high, sometimes too low.  By re-establishing your goals, you will also find yourself re-focusing and re-dedicating yourself to your mission.

As I told you back in April, Rome wasn’t built in a day. (I made that up just now.  Has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?) You didn’t gain those 20 excess pounds overnight.  Everything that is not right in your life can’t be fixed in 90 days.  Remember, our goal is to create a viable path, a practical plan to getting you where you want to be.  As attractive as promises of quick fixes are, we know that quick fixes rarely hold.  So, we are women.  We are grown ups.  We are used to hard work.  Roll up your sleeves.  If you are going to work hard for something, it may as well be something that YOU want.

Now click on over to our Weekly Workout and let's get started.
