Monthly Mission  

Every month we will take one aspect of your life and concentrate on it, maybe to bring it under control or maybe to fine tune it.  Some of the Monthly Missions will tie in with the season and some will just focus on those things we never seem to get around to.  Do some of them, do all of them, do parts of them.  It is your choice.  The main thing is that you do something! 

Our Weekly Workouts will tie in with the Monthly Mission.  I am a big believer in breaking down big projects into small, scheduled tasks.  So the Monthly Mission will give you an overview of what we will be working on for the month and then click on over to the Weekly Workout for specifics. 

Every fourth month we will track your progress towards your goals.  If you are just getting started, click on over to Love Taps to get started on your path to achieving your dreams.  Go on.  Get over there.  You know who you are.   Once you have gone through your Love Taps you will be ready to take part in our Weekly Workouts and Monthly Missions.

Health Month

 

We all know how easy it is to put off doing the things we need to do – especially if we don’t really want to do something.  But, as your personal butt kicker, I am here to tell you that if you don’t take care of your health, you won’t get to accomplish any of the goals you have set out for yourself.  Now I can hear that little voice inside your headYeah, but being sick is a dandy excuse for not accomplishing my goals because then its not my fault.”  DON’T MAKE ME SLAP YOU‼ 

 

It is hard enough to accomplish everything you set out to do.  And if, as I suspect, you dream big dreams and set large goals (the only kind in my book!) you need to have every weapon in your arsenal ready to be fired on command.  You don’t want to call on the big guns only to discover they have rusted out.  It is hard to keep pushing through to the end if your body is exhausted, your mind is swirling, and you are emotionally worn out. 

 

Being healthy, and I hate to say it, FIT, gives you an edge.  You have more energy to apply to your life and more energy in general brings about greater, faster, better results.  It improves your general attitude.  I am not a Pollyanna by any means, but the fact is that when you feel good physically, mentally and emotionally, you are more optimistic about your ability to take on projects and be successful.  The expectation that you will be successful puts you light-years ahead of the game in making your goal a reality.  How many people have you met who have succeeded just because it has never occurred to them that they wouldn’t succeed?  (Ignorance is not only bliss; it is often an unwitting -- pun intended -- business strategy.)  It is important to keep positive not just for other people, but for yourself.   

 

Taking care of yourself so that you are running on all cylinders is your responsibility.  You owe it to yourself and the people who love and depend on you.  So this month, you are taking care of your health – physical, mental, and emotional.
